To accomplish this goal, the Indian Health Care Improvement Act (I H C I A) and its subsequent amendments of , , , and authorize the I H S to conduct three interrelated scholarship programs to train the professional health personnel necessary to staff I H S health programs serving the Indian people. Health law is the federal, state, and local law, rules, regulations and other jurisprudence among providers, payers and vendors to the health care industry and its patients; and (2) delivery of health care services; all with an emphasis on operations, regulatory and transactional legal issues.
